Rick Collingwood in the Drought Region
Rick Collingwood, Australia's leading clinical hypnotherapist has just returned from the drought stricken NSW farming region of Lockhart after embarking on a voluntary tour of the region to help the local residents overcome the emotional effects prevailing from the drought. The region, like many other farming areas in rural Australia, has tragically been inundated with suicide, depression, emotional despair and other ill fated afflictions as a direct result of the economic and social devastation caused by the drought. Rick brought his internationally renown hypnotherapy skills to help treat the residents through group hypnosis sessions as well as numerous one on one sessions targeting severe personal afflictions.
In one situation an elderly woman who was suffering from Cancer actually jumped up after her personal session and screamed out "I feel great" and continued to remark about how inspired and how great she felt. This type of reaction was consistently mirrored by the 100 or so residents who attended the various sessions around the region. Many could not believe how deep Rick was able to take them, many of whom had also tried hypnotherapy in the past. The sessions targeted releasing the stress from the drought and personal empowerment over depression, self esteem issues and mental illness. All attendees were posted a free copy of one of Rick's Personal Hypnotherapy CD's of their choice and thus far all feedback has been phenomenal.
The idea was first spawned by local Lockhart resident Sue Schneider, after she discovered immense personal benefits from using Rick's CD's. After a few phone calls and emails Sue, along with the support from the community, had a full schedule organised as well as Rick's backing. Due to the overwhelming response Rick has decided to return to the region in April to follow up on the visit and ensure residents remain on the right track. |
